Job Title: Park Maintenance 1 - Seasonal

Location: Chelan/Beebe Bridge Park, Wenatchee Walla Walla Point Park, Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park

Overview: Join Chelan County Public Utility District as a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker. Help maintain our beautiful parks by performing landscape, custodial, and facility maintenance, operating equipment, and assisting the public.

Responsibilities:

• Landscape Maintenance: Mowing, sod laying, trimming, weeding, turf care, irrigation maintenance.
• Custodial: Restroom/shelter cleaning, litter and rubbish removal.
• Equipment Operation: Operate large mowers, front-end loaders, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
• Facility & Recreation Area Care: Maintain ball fields, playgrounds, and signs, including repairs.
• Marine & Hard Surface Maintenance: Debris removal, trail sweeping, and facility upkeep.

Job Duration: Seasonal, varying start dates (March-June) and end dates (September-November).

Contract Rate: $24.53/hr, plus benefits for positions 6+ months. Additional $0.50/hr for shorter contracts.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of landscape or facility maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; Washington State license within 30 days.
• Ability to operate equipment, perform physical tasks, and work in a team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, five consecutive days including weekends and holidays. Flexible hours (6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM). Overtime may be required.
